2026 Meetings Calendar
By-law Requirements
• All members of this board are required to attend the mandatory meeting (8/18 or a meeting offered from a different board*)
*Alternative dates are posted below
• All members of this board are required to attend 60% of scheduled meetings.
• All Class 1 & 2 officials are required to take the physical fitness test.
• MASO Requirement: All Class 1 officials are required to take, and pass, the online exam.

Sunday, August 16 @ Gorham Middle School in the Auditorium (In-Person ONLY)
Mandatory Interpretation Meeting with MASO Interpreter
• 6:00* PM Interpretation Meeting (Attendance is required for ALL members of this board)
• Physical Fitness Test at 5:00 PM at Gorham HIGH School (Attendance is required for anyone wishing to officiate playoffs and for anyone wishing to move from Class 2 to Class1 - New officials are NOT required to attend)
Note: If you can not attend on 8/16, then you must attend one of the alternative dates (posted below)

In the past, this board has sponsored an end-of-the-season banquet. All members of this board are welcome and encouraged to attend. Wives, husbands, and significant others are also welcome. The cost in 2025 was $15 per person, with the board covering the balance.

You must attend 2 of the above meetings to meet the 60% requirement
If you can't attend the Sunday night meetings, you may attend the new officials' training classes in August to meet this requirement, or you must write a letter to the secretary requesting to be excused from this by-law requirement.
Training Class for New Officials - Tuesday, August 25, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ 995 Congress St - This is a MaineHealth/Maine Medical Center office complex
Anyone is welcome! Tell your friends! You don't need any experience at all. We desperately need new officials!
(Also, highly recommended for 2nd and 3rd-year officials!)
